These landscape
watercolours of Northamptonshire are left over from a bygone era, they
were painted at least ten years ago and recently found in one of the attics
at Linden House. Some are straight watercolours, others have watercolour
pigment with body white and they all painted on rag paper. Sold as seen
mostly unmounted and all unframed, we are selling them below their probable
current value, which is difficult to ascertain as the watercolours which
John painted between 1983 and 1995 only very rarely come back onto the
